Tina Kennedy began her career in the insurance industry in 1997 in Denver, Colorado working for Byerly & Company (now part of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.), specializing in the day-to-day enrollment and billing operations of four Health Insurance Purchasing Cooperatives (HIPC) in the West and Northwest.   In 2000, she was hired by Associated Oregon Industries as Director of Marketing for AOI HealthChoice, a HIPC and Association Health Plan based in Salem, Oregon and relocated to the Pacific Northwest at the end of that year. After almost 10 years, she left AOI to gain experience working as an independent agent, and joined Healthwise Insurance Planning, LLC in March of 2016. Tina specializes in Medicare and individual insurance, and is certified to assist people in enrolling through the federal Health Insurance Marketplace, aka Healthcare.gov.

Tina has served as President of the Oregon Association of Health Underwriters and as Regional Communications Chairperson for the National Association of Health Underwriters. Tina graduated from the University of California, Davis with a B.A. in German Language Studies.
